Meet the Team

Elizabeth Repin

Elizabeth Repin – CEO and Co-Founder

LEED AP BD+C, CxA

Elizabeth Repin is the CEO and Co-Founder of Nexus Verify and the co-inventor behind its patent-pending AI platform. She combines sustainability expertise with technological innovation, guiding Nexus Verify in redefining building product compliance by automating verification with up to 80% faster turnaround times and over 95% accuracy, a significant advancement over manual methods.

Under her leadership, Nexus Verify has reduced compliance review times from an average of 50 hours per project to about 10, easing the burden on architects, contractors, and consultants while ensuring accuracy and reliability in compliance checks. Powered by proprietary "mind + machine" neural architectures, the platform parses product information PDFs—including certificates such as HPDs, EPDs, and GreenGuard Gold—that are always unstructured and difficult to process without advanced AI, with an adaptive design that maintains accuracy as standards and document formats evolve.

In addition to leading Nexus Verify, Elizabeth founded Green Living, LLC, a nationally recognized sustainability consultancy established in 2006, where she has advanced LEED, WELL, and RESET Air certifications on landmark projects. A LEED Accredited Professional since 2006, she continues to drive innovation that connects AI, sustainability, and practical impact for the building industry worldwide.

Ankur Khandelwal

Ankur Khandelwal – CTO and Co-Founder

Engineer, Postgraduate in Machine Learning, LEED AP BD+C, LEED OM, Fitwel Ambassador

Ankur Khandelwal is the CTO and Co-Founder of NexusVerify.ai, where he leads the development of AI solutions for sustainable building material compliance. He is the co-inventor of a patent pending with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), underscoring his role as an innovator at the intersection of artificial intelligence, sustainability, and building performance.

He holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, where he gained expertise in deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and model deployment. At NexusVerify, Ankur oversees platform development and guides a cross-functional team to align with global sustainability objectives and certification standards. In parallel, he is advancing an energy modeling application that streamlines review processes and supports data-driven decision-making.

With over 18 years of experience in energy simulation, LEED MEP calculations, building commissioning, and sustainability certifications, Ankur brings a strong combination of domain knowledge and technical leadership. As an Associate Principal at Green Living, LLC, he directs operations from design through construction, energy modeling, and manages MEP credits, delivering sustainable outcomes across over 150 projects totaling more than 25 million square feet.

Abhishek Yadav

Abhishek Yadav

Machine Learning Engineer, B.Tech in Information Technology

Abhishek joined the team in 2023 and focuses on the technical development of Nexus, the company's LEED compliance tool. His work centers on Python development and building systems that can reliably process and analyze sustainability data.

He specializes in techniques like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases—technical approaches that help make large amounts of building product information searchable and usable for compliance analysis. While these methods can sound abstract, Abhishek's focus is on making sure they actually work reliably for the specific challenges green building professionals face.

His computer science background and experience with generative models help him tackle the technical challenges of processing complex certification requirements, but he's equally focused on making sure the end result is something people can actually use effectively.

Souravh Pateriya

Souravh Pateriya

Full-stack Developer, B.Tech in Information Technology

Souravh joined the team in 2023 as a Full-Stack Software Engineer, bringing experience in both front-end and back-end development. He works on the technical infrastructure that powers the company's platforms, ensuring they're reliable and can handle real-world usage.

His work spans TypeScript/JavaScript frameworks, Python development, and cloud technologies. He's particularly focused on system architecture—ensuring the applications can scale and perform well as more users come on board.

Beyond core platform development, Souravh has experience with mobile development, DevOps practices, and database optimization. His approach emphasizes building robust, maintainable systems rather than quickly releasing features.

Tanya Bhargava

Tanya Bhargava

Quality Assurance Manager, B.Tech in Information Technology

Tanya joined NexusVerify in 2023 and leads quality assurance efforts for Nexus. With a B.Tech in Information Technology and specialization in machine learning, she brings both technical understanding and a systematic approach to testing and validation.

Her role involves ensuring that the platform actually works as intended—not just in ideal conditions but in messy, real-world scenarios that users encounter. She evaluates model performance, optimizes data workflows, and helps ensure the system's reliability.

Tanya bridges the gap between the technical development team and the end-user experience, making sure the team stays focused on building something that solves real problems rather than just demonstrating technical capabilities.

Ringkhang Muchahary

Ringkhang Muchahary

Energy Modeler, Mechanical Engineer, LEED AP

Ringkhang has been working with Green Living since 2017, bringing over a decade of experience in energy modeling and building performance analysis. He holds an M.Tech in Thermal Engineering and has completed 78 comprehensive energy modeling simulations.

His expertise covers ASHRAE Standards (90.1, 62.1, and 55) and the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC). He's worked on various aspects of sustainable building design, from HVAC optimization to renewable energy integration and water conservation.

Ringkhang's hands-on experience with LEED MEP documentation gives insight into where the process works well and where it doesn't—a perspective that helps inform how the team develops tools to support energy modeling and compliance workflows.

Ankit Rawat

Ankit Rawat

LEED Green Associate and Construction Credit Specialist

Ankit has been with Green Living since 2019, bringing five years of experience with LEED construction credits and prerequisite applications. He's worked on LEED and AEGB certifications as well as Boston and Denver green building initiatives.

His role focuses on the practical aspects of getting projects through certification processes—understanding requirements, managing documentation, and working with project teams to meet standards. This hands-on experience with the current process helps the team understand what works and what could be improved.

Ankit works directly with Ankur Khandelwal on certification projects, giving him insight into both the technical and administrative challenges that the team's tools aim to address.
